Our inspection process is systematic and documented. From incoming material verification through final dimensional sign-off, each step is recorded and traceable.

Spectrometer Testing

Optical emission spectrometry verifies alloy chemistry on every heat — confirming iron grade, carbon equivalent, and alloying elements before the mold is poured.

Dimensional Inspection

First-article and in-process dimensional checks against customer prints. Critical dimensions are recorded and retained as part of the job traveler.

Brinell Hardness Testing

Brinell hardness testing confirms mechanical properties are within specification for the grade — gray iron, ductile iron, or aluminum — on every production run.

Tensile Testing

Tensile bar testing verifies ultimate tensile strength, yield strength, and elongation for ductile iron and aluminum castings per applicable ASTM standards.

Laser Scanning

Non-contact 3D laser scanning captures full-surface geometry for complex castings, enabling rapid comparison to CAD nominal and identification of dimensional drift.

X-Ray Inspection

Radiographic inspection is available for castings where internal soundness must be verified — detecting shrinkage, porosity, and inclusions not visible at the surface.

PPAP Support

We support Production Part Approval Process documentation including dimensional results, material certifications, process flow, control plans, and sample submission.

Material Traceability

Every casting is traceable to its heat number, charge materials, and pour date. Certifications are issued with each shipment and retained on file.

Documented Final Inspection

A completed inspection record accompanies every order. Visual, dimensional, and mechanical results are signed off before release — no casting ships without it.
